I couldn’t believe my eyes. For the first time in my life, I actually read about someone who got killed because of a video game. More concretely, someone died because of neglect that arised from a video game.

What kind of parents would leave their infant daughter, even for an hour, for video games?! Were these kids thinking? They’ve had their baby for four months already. Didn’t they realize that their daughter might wake up at any moment? Don’t they even know of SIDS?!

Instances like these make me think that there might not be much hope for the human race. At least for a segment of it.

Stalemate

A new day brings about a stalemate in Philippine politics. With PGMA’s firm stand (some say bravado, or even hubris) on staying on as president last night, the flurry of rallies and calls for resignation seem to have gone back to a simmer.
