one half-day's work, or four days and three nights at boracay?

there must be something wrong with me. i actually had to think this over for a few hours.

yes, i am excited to go back to work, but am i that excited to actually choose work over a vacation?

i asked around, and the several points that people came up with were:

1. if i were you, i'd go for the beach. to hell with work.
2. go for boracay. you'll have difficulty going on vacation later.
3. you're not spending for bulk of the expenses. (we can bond the whole night.

the day's been great so far! i can't believe how productive i've been. in the span of 7 hours, i have:

1. had breakfast,
2. had chit-chat after breakfast,
3. checked lesson plans,
4. recorded the said lesson plans,
5. made a lesson plan,
6. watched a documentary,
7. made guide questions for the said documentary,
8. had the guide questions photocopied in time for class,
9. arranged for presentation dates,
10. eaten lunch,
11. eaten a snack,
12. chit-chatted about vampire,
13. posted a blog entry,
14. sms-ed friends…
15. AND set a date for tonight!

fantastic! and the day's not yet over! coolness!

geworfenheit online

for those not in the know, geworfenheit is the term used by the philosopher sarte to express the “thrown-ness” one feels whenever an important facet of one’s life is suddenly and forcibly removed. it is a german term.

imagine this: what if you wake up one morning and you just know that there is no god? don’t think how or why you know. you just do. how would you feel? the destabilization that comes after is geworfenheit. that feeling of suddenly trying to hold on to something that is no longer there, that is geworfenheit.

in the light of recent developments, i now rename this blog to a more current and more appropriate title. for those who know me personally, let the title speak for itself.
